The headless CMS solution "Lupus Decoupled Drupal" from drunomics wins two awards at the Splash Awards 2023.
Mannheim - In November of this year the Splash Awards Germany and Austria were presented for the sixth time to the best Drupal projects in both countries. The Splash Awards are aimed at raising awareness of the content management system (CMS) Drupal. This year, the nominated projects received awards in eight categories, as well as four honorable mentions for outstanding achievement.
The team from Vienna-based Drupal agency drunomics, Oliver Berndt and Jeremy Chinquist were in Mannheim to exchange ideas with the German-speaking digital community at the Drupal Business Day, which took place before the Splash Awards.
During the awards ceremony, the project "Lupus Decoupled Drupal - The power of Drupal, with a modern frontend" won 2nd place in the Solutions category and received an Honorable Mention for "Largest Contribution Value" to the Drupal Open Source community.
The exciting thing about the Lupus Decoupled solution is that the advantages of the Drupal CMS have been optimally combined with the modern JavaScript framework Nuxt.js in the front end. Wolfgang Ziegler, Managing Partner and CTO of drunomics, describes the benefits for the projects implemented with Lupus Decoupled Drupal: "While the website can be easily edited in Drupal as usual, the modern frontend ensures a great user experience and easy integration of additional services. This makes it possible for developers without Drupal knowledge to customize and expand the frontend."
The Vienna-based company drunomics has many years of expertise in implementing Drupal projects for national and international companies, organisations and media. Oliver Berndt, Managing Partner and COO of drunomics adds: 'Building on this expertise, we started developing Lupus Decoupled Drupal five years ago. With almost two-thirds of our team actively involved in the development of the project, we are particularly pleased to have been awarded the Honorable Mention for "Largest Contribution Value" award for our contribution to the Drupal community this year.'
Jeremy Chinquist, Project Manager at drunomics, also emphasizes the advantages for the open source community: "Members of the Drupal communities in Germany and Austria came together this year at the Drupal Developer Days in Vienna, at DrupalCon in Lille and at the Drupal Business Day in Mannheim to discuss future topics, Drupal community contributions, new technologies and new marketing approaches. Our team at drunomics is also proud to make an important contribution to the community with Lupus Decoupled Drupal and to participate in current discussions."
