
Success story 2025: The Volkswagen AG InfoPortal – developed with drunomics expertise – wins silver at the German and Austrian Splash Awards
Volkswagen Group IT required a modern solution for a cross-brand communication and information platform that would efficiently connect Volkswagen AG manufacturers with their sales and service organizations. The project was implemented jointly with their long-standing partner, Porsche Informatik. drunomics, a proven Drupal expert, was brought into the project team to develop the project.
The project delivered a scalable, cloud-based, multi-brand platform with a centralized backend and a decoupled, user-friendly interface for Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, and Audi. Standardized content management and optimized workflows reduce costs, while an enhanced search function increases usability and significantly improves the user experience through quick access to relevant information. Lupus Decoupled Drupal enabled the independent development of the backend and frontend, facilitating parallel development, increasing efficiency, and enabling a seamless collaboration.
