Sonnenhof operates an animal sanctuary providing veterinary care and housing for rescued animals, with the goal of placing them with adopters. Sonnenhof partnered with drunomics to modernize their Drupal 7 platform. With Drupal 7 reaching end-of-life in January 2025, Sonnenhof needed to migrate their existing Drupal site to a supported and secure version. mossbo, built on the open source Lupus Decoupled Drupal project, provided the solution with its decoupled architecture combining Drupal's content management capabilities with Nuxt's frontend flexibility.
